Description

The Vortex Red Dot Scope Viper 6 MOA combines speed with simplicity, its low mounting height making it the perfect solution for mounting on pistols with cutout slides. The Viper Red Dot is a sight built for high performance and versatility. The bright daylight Red Dot is adjustable in 10 positions, easy to see and makes targets clearly visible regardless of lighting conditions or background. The body is made of the kind of aluminium also used for aircraft and is manufactured from one piece. On the left side of the Viper Red Dot are the buttons for adjusting the light intensity, this is very easy via the up/down button. The wind and elevation adjustment buttons 1 MOA are recessed on the back of the Viper Red Dot, this protects them from incidental contact but makes them easily accessible.

Application

Besides being able to be mounted directly on a pistol with cutout slide, the Viper Red Dot can also be mounted on a picatinny or weaver rail using the low mount supplied. It is also possible to mount the Viper Red Dot on your AR-15 rifle using the AR-15 Riser mount in combination with the low mount, see optional accessories. The Viper Red Dot features a 14-hour auto shutdown which ensures maximum battery life. You thus have the ability to use the Red Dot for 150 hours on the highest setting and up to 30,000 hours on the lower settings.
